Movie Synopsis:
Good-bye, classroom! Hello, summer! But for Troy, Gabriella, Chad, and
Taylor, this vacation is no day at the beach. That's because they're all
working at a country club founded by Ryan and Sharpay's family! And with
the club's annual talent show right around the corner, Sharpay's
competitive instincts are sizzling. She dumps Ryan as her singing partner
and starts wooing Troy to join her onstage instead. Gabriella is less
than thrilled that Troy has agreed to sing with Sharpay. How could he do
that to her? Things are heating up on the lawns of high society. Will
Troy and Gabriella realize that they're meant to be? Or is it already too

Movie Trivia:
* It took four days to film all the school scenes at East High. During
one of those days, classes were in session. Actual students at East High
were given instruction of where not to go so that no one would interfere
with the filming of the movie.
* Before filming this movie, Monique Coleman did not know how to swim and
was actually afraid of the water. For the scene where her character jumps
into the pool, the script was rewritten for her dancing partner Corbin
Bleu to jump in with her. She later said in an interview that she
received an amazing amount of support from the entire cast and crew.
* Miley Cyrus appears in the end scene, singing "All for One", she is
wearing a yellow dress and the camera is only on her for a few seconds.
* Lucas Grabeel wrote and sang the song that is playing in Sharpay's car,
in the scene where Sharpay and Ryan drive up to the entrance of Lava
Springs.
* There was a cut song from the movie called "Humuhumunukunukuapua'a",
performed by Sharpay, Ryan and the Sharpettes. It was to have taken place
after the dinner with Troy and the Evans, and before the pool date with
Gabriella. It was the song that Ryan and Sharpay were originally going to
do to win the Star Dazzle award.
